Bradbourn House East Malling

A review of the income-generating potential of a Grade I ‘stately house’ outside Maidstone owned by the East Malling Trust for Horticultural Research.  The study recommended a series of low volume, high income generation uses including serviced offices, conferencing, wedding venue, catering and functions.

Stubton Village Hall

Landscape 2000

An objective appraisal of an innovative environmental improvement initiative undertaken in and around St. Neot’s by a small team specifically appointed under a budget created through planning gain.  The aim was to assess whether the initiative had achieved its objectives, whether it had a longer term role and, if so, what it is and how it should be financed to achieve long term sustainability.

Devizes Visitor Study

Objective appraisal into the potential to physically and economically regenerate the North West Quadrant of the Town Centre providing an effective linkage between the Market Place and the Wharf of the Kennet and Avon Canal.  The study included a qualitative appraisal of the ‘tourism offer’ including the attractions, food and drink, accommodation (serviced and unserviced) and retail sectors, an appraisal as to the economic impact of the relocation of the County Record Office into the area and an Action Plan of initiatives to stimulate real and lasting economic benefit to the town.

Queen Elizabeth Country Park

Critical appraisal of the operation of the park in the mid 1980’s for Hampshire County Council and the Forestry Commission which reviewed everything that influences visitor attitudes and perceptions including signage, orientation, overall presentation, role of the visitor centre, education, interpretation and the events programme.  An Action Plan highlighted the way forward which was adopted and implemented.
